Public Art Projects
I was thrilled to be commissioned to create a large painting for the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital in Palo Alto, CA. The hospital has been working on a large expansion with public art designed for kids a large part of the design. My large (30" x 40") painting is called "Beltane" and is a celebration of native California wildlife. Here's a recent Mercury News article on the LPCH expansion and the artwork. The new facility will open in December 2017.
Below are some pics of a mural I did in downtown San Jose, on North 1st Street, between Santa Clara and St. John. The mural is based on my painting "Moon Rabbits".
Below are some pics of a utility box I painted as part of the San Jose Art Box Project. The box is on Park St. at Naglee, across from the Rosicrucian Museum (hence the Egyptian theme!)
